I had a panic attack last week as Grace left her "B" (pink bunny blanket thingy from Carter's)in the kitchen and was searching all around at bedtime saying B,B,B. Then when she found it she kept saying sorry to it- It was so sweet, but made me realize what trouble we would be in if we lost it. Of course Carter's no longer has these so I had to find one on Ebay and had it shipped right away. Its tucked away in the closet if we ever need it!
We couldn't find the panda bear either. Looked everywhere for it in the stores...even during our California trips! We finally ordered these online too.
I read an article about purchasing a back-up "lovey," so I did. However, Alyssa didn't get attached to hers like I thought she might. Now, I have an extra one! I think I'll save it for when she has a baby someday because it will be the same toy I gave her as a baby. You're very smart to buy back-ups. I heard that it's good to rotate them so they are equally worn. Otherwise, when he's older, he'll know the difference and won't want it even though it's the same toy. Just swap them around every week and you'll be good to go!
