10. Nate graduating to a big boy's bed (and creating new challenges for mom and dad)

9. Nate learning how to talk (whoops...gotta watch what we say now)

8. Really appreciating date nights (oh boy, do we ever!)

7. Seeing relatives for the first time in many years (nearly 20 years for some!)

6. Traveling to San Francisco, San Diego and Kansas City with a toddler (getting through security was interesting)

5. Denise blessed with several licensing contracts for her art (one word....YAY!!!)

4. Gaining weight (ugh)

3. Getting a free wood dining table from Einstein's bagels (SWEET! Don had many conversations with people around that table)

2. 12th annual Disneyland Girl Trip (I think we did more shopping than riding)

.....and the number one thing of 2008..........

1. Celebrating the 1-yr anniversary of Nate's "Gotcha Day"! (can't believe he's already been with us a year)
